Annual Events Update
Trunk or Treat Halloween Event 10/28/2018:
Danby had it's first 'Trunk or Treat' event at the Elementary School. Nearly 20 different vehicles were decorated and a large number of trick or treaters showed up. Fun was had by all! We'll plan on this again for next year. Thanks to the organizing committee members and all our sponsors for supporting us. Pictures from the event follow:
Town wide Tag Sale - Aug 2018:
The town wide tag sale occurred on August 18, 2018. Although the day started out with steady rainfall, it stopped right at 9AM when the event started. There were several events in the village including live music thanks to the Hale Mt. Pickers, a chicken bbq thanks to the fire department, almost 20 tables of vendors and citizens selling their goods at the the old Griffith Country Store; we also had nearly 20 individual homeowners selling goods at their homes. It was a terrific day with lots of citizens and out-of-town folks participating.
