Dog Licenses are due on April 1. Licenses may be obtained at the Danby Town Clerk’s office during regular office hours.
A current rabies certificate must be on file or given to the clerk at that time. FEES/INFO

Dog Licenses due April 1, 2025
Danby dog licenses have increased by $2.00 each. This is an increase by the State to offset veterinary fees . Licenses are as follows:
Licensed on or before April 1, 2025
Spayed Female and Neutered Males …$13.00 each
Unspayed Female or Unneutered Male….$15.00 each
AFTER April 1, 2025
Spayed Female and Neutered Male….$18.00
Unspayed Female or Unneutered Male….$20.00

Regular in-person office hours for the TOWN CLERK are 9AM - 3PM, Monday - Thursday.
An appointment is required to do research in the town records.

TRASH, FOOD WASTE and RECYCLING items may be disposed of at the Danby Town Garage: There is a fee for
trash disposal; recycling is free. More details about fees and accepted trash & recycling HERE
Regular hours are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday 7 am – 4 pm, closed on holidays.

NOTICE
INDIVIDUALS FOUND TO HAVE PLACED NON-RECYCLABLE ITEMS IN THE DANBY RECYCLING COMPACTOR, THAT ARE REJECTED BY OUR WASTE HAULER, WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REIMBURSING THE TOWN FOR ANY FEE ASSESSED AGAINST THE TOWN FOR SAME.
